Background/Identification
The Linksys WAP11 serves as a base for a reliable 11 Mbps wireless network. Released in 2001, it provides load balancing, network traffic filtering, roaming, and best access point selection. It supports up to 32 users/nodes. The Linksys WAP11 ships at 3 pounds, has a royal blue front panel, and is black/grey at the middle and rear of the device. Both antennas, placed in a rabbit-ear set up, are also black and removable. The words Wireless Access Point are displayed on the front panel, and additional identification (shown in the device picture) are at the top of the device.
