iPad mini activation error!

After I did a reset on my iPad mini, it got an activation error, tried everything but still wouldn’t work, connected to iTunes, restore and update, remove the device from iCloud and still fails. I went to a repair shop and the technician said NAND chip is needed to be replaced, I’m kind of doubting because the iPad still turns on, I can set the language and location but during activation it fails, any idea how to fix this %#*@ thing?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Personal hotspot with an iPhone, Try another Wireless network. on my iPhone 4s with a burnt wifi chip i used an iPad camera connection kit and Apple USB ethernet to create a hardwired link, it worked. for activation. et all. Good luck.

First off that technician is totally wrong. Replacing the NAND flash on your iPad is not only a ridiculously hard and possibly really expensive thing to do, but unless you have a special kind of machine it won’t even work.

As for your problem, what version of iOS is it on at the moment?

I know right, that’s why I’m asking for other options because the iPad mini works fine, only it has errors upon activation. It runs iOS 9.3.5 when I reset it, tried restore and update, still no luck.

If you Ipad has EVER been into a street service and had any part replaced, you wil NEVER be able to activate it again. The moment you updated it from ios 9 to ios 11, you turned it into a brick , as ios 11 doesn't allow anymore for apple devices with replaced parts (or refurbished devices) to activate. Go to that service again and if he can fix this, in ANY way, you're in luck buddy.

My IpadMini2 is a brick in my drawer since last year.
