What you need

    • Pull a stringed needle through the loop of the snag.

    • Tie a knot at the end of the snag loop.

    • Put the needle at the base of the snag.

    • Push the needle through the base to the other side.

    • Flip your clothing item over or inside out to see where the needle was pushed through.

    • Pull the needle all the way through. You want it tight enough that you have the whole snag through, but not tight enough to start pulling through more of the clothing item.

    • Tie a knot at the base of the snag.

    • Remember: This is is after you pushed the thread to the inside of your clothing. This pushed the snag to the inside. On the inside snag is where you're tying the new knot where it is coming through.

    • Double knot it for extra security.

    • Cut the extra snag and thread off, leaving a little string near the knot. This leaves a little "tail". Do not cut off the knot or "tail".

    • The small knot and "tail" makes sure the snag doesn't pull through again. If cut, it could unravel the clothing item.
