    • Be sure that the bucket or pot is big enough to fit the vacuum that will be used for this procedure

    • It is suggested when cutting a hole into the bottom of the bucket, you use a Utility Knife and not rush through this step

    • Insert the vacuum into the hole at the bottom of the bucket to be sure it fits

    • If the hole is too small and the vacuum cannot fit within the hole, go back to step one and attempt to enlarge the hole

    • Be sure to wipe down the area that will be worked on with a dry cotton rag

    • The dirt and oil that may be on the surface of your car can make it harder to complete the steps that follow. Due to the fact that dirt and oil can cause issues with the effectiveness of how tape may stick.

    • Place the bucket over the dent that needs to be fixed

    • Start by lightly taping down the bucket with painters tape - this allows the bucket to be held up and allow the rest of the tapping easier to do

    • Go over the edges of the bucket with duct tape until you are sure that it is airtight onto the car

    • Place the vacuum into the hole at the bottom of the bucket

    • At this point be sure to allow some time for suction to occur and listen for a small popping noise

    • The popping noise that needs to be listened for is the dent in your car popping out from the suction of the vacuum

    • At times the way the vacuum is positioned can affect the suction

    • If after some time there is no popping noise, adjusting the placement of the vacuum is recommended

    • After adjusting the vacuum allow time for suction again and listen for a popping noise to know when your dent is fixed
